Dreaded Before Picture:
Unfortunately, I didn't decide to lose weight until the
summer
following when this picture was taken at Christmas of 2002.
I was probably at close to my official starting weight of 275
here.

is the beginning of my "happy pose" pictures.

I
started my journey on June 5, 2003. These pictures were taken at
the end of July. I
didn't really want anyone to take my picture until I'd gotten to this
point. I wish I had taken some better pictures early on, but oh
well. I was pretty happy about these size 22W shorts being loose!

pictures were taken just before I started my first year of
teaching. I was wearing my new "skinny clothes." This is
the first pair of non-elastic waist anything that I'd owned in a long
time!

shirt. I'd just bought some more new clothes for school.

At
this
point, I hit a plateau and got discouraged. I was hovering right
around "onederland," but I couldn't seem to cross the border. By
the time I started moving again, I was fed up with taking progress
pictures, and I'm sure you're fed up with looking at them by now.
So, from here on out the Recent Progress
Pictures are just snapshots
from my life. Fortunately, we also gained access to a digital
camera around the same time, so the pictures are also much better.
